Softseizure is the art/photo site of Sydney based Daniel Smith.
Bio: My art practice revolves around drawing using a variety of different mediums and processes including graphite, ink, watercolour, biro, gouache, Nintendo DS, drawing tablet, and the iPad. Lately I have been making some dioramas too and am investigating 3D and sculpture.
My work is based on snippets, small ideas and one liners that sit awkwardly on the paper. Subject matter includes but is not limited to odd looking men, figures, amoebas, cells, devils, bones, cats, faces and disjointed landscapes.
I have been self-publishing books of collected drawings from sketchbooks at my art/book store www.softspacecollect.com.
